Philadelphia, PA — December 19, 2019 — National Real Estate Development, LLC (“National Development”) today announced the addition of Canopy Philadelphia Center City (“Canopy Philadelphia”), a lifestyle hotel that is part of the Hilton portfolio. Located at 1180 Ludlow Street as part of the East Market development in Center City, Canopy Philadelphia will offer 236 rooms and is scheduled to open in the spring of 2020.

Designed by BLT Architects and developed as an adaptive reuse of the historic Stephen Girard Building, Canopy Philadelphia will pay homage to the rich history of the city while infusing a hip, modern look and feel. The hotel will feature a signature restaurant and bar program, which will include an American brasserie with French influence. Additionally, hotel guests will be treated to a number of first-class amenities and services, including Canopy Bike Program, complimentary evening tasting of wine, sprits and beer, approximately 3,600 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and more.
